Position Description

• Design solutions to automate Platform Services related tasks
• Bridge communication between users of different levels and departments
• Handle external customer communication regarding OS and compiler support
• Ability to build and debug compiler related issues in multi-platform
• Plan and define OS compute platform standard for company products, based on information collected from stakeholders
• Communicate with external OS vendors and the open source community to coordinate bug fixes or enhancements requests
• Be the first level of support for Unix environment issues

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in the Configuration Management or IT areas
• 5+ years on the EDA industry
• BSEE or related areas, MSEE preferred
• Familiar with Perforce, Clearcase and other source code management tools
• Knowledge of software configuration management concepts/process
• Experience with scripting programming and Makefile. C/C++ and Java are a plus
• Good problem solving and analysis skills
• Advanced knowledge on Unix commands and utilities
• Excellent communication skills and sensitivity to work with different cultures and work styles
